How to Enter Askey Router WEB GUI?
The most commonly used IP to enter the Askey WEB GUI is 192.168.1.1. Open a web browser, as shown in the image below.
When the page opens, you’ll need to write your router’s username and password.

Changing Askey WiFi Password
If your neighbors are using your internet without even asking for permission, you can always put an end to this by simply changing your router’s WiFi password. Periodically changing the password of your wireless connection is significant for your security.
How to Change Askey WiFi Password?
- Log into the router
- Click “Wireless Settings”
- SSID is your WiFi name. You can change the name of your router from here.
- SSID Password is your WiFi password. You can change your password from here.
- Your password should have 8 characters.
- Click “Save” after changing your password.
After changing your Askey WiFi password, your router will restart. To connect the router, you’ll need to enter your new password on your devices, such as PC or mobile.
I can’t connect to my Askey router’s admin interface?
If you receive the error message: “Can’t reach this page,” then you may be trying the wrong IP address.
How do I find the IP address of my Askey router?
192.168.1.1 may not be your router’s IP address. To learn your router’s default IP address, you can refer to the label on the bottom of your modem or, if available, the modem’s user manual. If you don’t have either of those, you can try the following steps and learn your router’s default IP address.
The most used IP addresses by Askey routers;
- 192.168.1.1
- 192.168.0.1
- 192.168.100.1
In Windows: Type “cmd” in the search bar and click “Command Prompt.” Now, type “ipconfig” and press enter. The IP address next to “Default Gateway” is the interface login IP address of your modem. In the example image below; “Default Gateway . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 is the IP address.
On a MacBook computer; type “route -n get default” in the Terminal. The IP address next to “Gateway” is the interface login IP address of your modem.
How to Reset Askey Router?
You’ll need your GUI password to change the WiFi password. If you have already changed your Askey router’s WEB GUI password and don’t remember that password, you’ll need to reset your router.
Attention: After the reset, your router will restore factory settings. All passwords and configurations you have set will be gone. Your internet connection will drop and you’ll need to reconfigure the router.
Askey router Hard Factory Reset
Important: Your Askey router should be plugged in and working, and its lights must be on.
- Find the reset button behind your Askey router.
- Use a pin or another sharp-pointed object (like a pen or toothpick) to press and hold on to the reset button for about 10-15 seconds.
- Your router’s lights will flash.
- Wait until all of your Askey router’s lights are on.
- Congrats! You successfully reset your Askey router.
